Abe finally did the unthinkable which had been most
feared by our founders as they agonized over the dangers inherent in
the formation of our union. Our founders, who demanded
that individual states would remain all-powerful, agreed that a union
of the states could not and would not be formed without a legal declaration
by all; that a state's right to secede would be guaranteed. That right
was thus guaranteed by the Constitution.
Abe took it upon himself to violate that guarantee, precipitating the
Civil War. It was the most egregious violation ever of our
Constitution , led to the most egregious usurpation of individual and
states' rights ever and began the formation of a long-feared central power
(today, a monarchy).
In essence, in utter contempt of our founding fathers and those
who fought and died for our independence, Abe signed, sealed and
delivered a "Declaration Of Dependence" --
