Folks on Gov
Riley's state government payroll are out en masse on statewide "Letters to
the Editor" pages these days, and in perfect lockstep in conjuring
up fearsome scenarios of doom were their boss not get his tax
package.
However, payroller, Executive Director, Alabama Residential Child
Care Association, Mac Otts' letter, "On compassionate Rednecks",
"The Anniston Star", Aug 31, probably won't get his governor
friend any "yes" votes on September 9 since only those too young to
vote would fall for such an infantile attempt to get out the vote
of the ignorant.
His scenario portrayed a New York and a Boston "professional"
acquaintance who chided that "conservative rednecks are so dominant in
Alabama as to make it practically impossible to have a positive result for the
tax package".
And why will Mr Otts vote yes for the tax package? Mr Otts wants
these two New York and Boston "professionals" to have to "eat crow", of
course!
