Mike Knezevich's holier-than-thou letter, "Xenophobia is a
problem in state" (Sept. 9), misses the entire point relating to
illegal immigrants.
His statement, "Many still have the same underlying inability to
recognize the value of every human personality - by acknowledging
the dignity, the work and the humanity of all individuals" is a case
in point.

It appears that Mike doesn't
fathom the obvious, which are our existing laws intended to
"recognize the value of every human personality - by acknowledging
the dignity, the work and the humanity of all individuals," thus
preventing illegal immigrants from usurping such.
