It's time to take a 'deep breath' It's time to take a 'deep breath'


The author of the letter to the editor titled "President puts America at risk" (Feb. 27), causes one to surmise that the frantic, hand-wringing diatribe that was presented possibly reflects the approach to terrorism one might have expected from a Gore presidency/administration, God forbid.

History would suggest that some might just take a deep breath, relax and feel secure in the fact that "the world consists largely of weak men made and kept free by better men than themselves" (John Stuart Mill, 1865).
