War protesters abuse free-speech right

Sunday, October 2, 2005 10:40 PM CDT

Following in the footsteps of "Hanoi Jane" and "Hanoi John," it appears that "Baghdad Cindy" is gaining a considerable war-protester following who tend to tout that these traitors have a constitutional right to free speech but meekly forgive them for not exercising their responsibility to our troops in exercising that right.

The epitome of free speech irresponsibility - the familiar "screaming 'fire' in a crowded theater" - pales in comparison to the irresponsible message that "Baghdad Cindy" is sending to the enemy by screaming to the enemy, "Fire," in a crowded theater battlefield of our troops.

Some day, we'll look back and recall this irresponsibility as treason of "Sheehanal" proportion.

Armond "Si" Simmons
