PC crowd should check meaning of ‘holiday'

Saturday, December 3, 2005 1:01 AM CST

The PC (Political Correctness) Police have determined that the term “Christmas season” is just too suggestive of a “holy” festival, God forbid.

Their solution? “Holiday Season.”

Will the PC Police amend the decision when they learn that “holiday” is defined as “the day or days of a religious festival,” according to Encarta World English Dictionary (North American Edition)?

Mind you, the PC Police job is not an easy one!
