I began to read “Newcomer not impressed with pet care” on Monday, Dec. 12, until I read, “Having moved from the West Coast to Meridian a little over a year ago, some things here have taken a little while to adjust to.”

Having had my fill of “guidance” from the “Left Coast” in matters of Left Coast integrity, Left Coast values, Left Coast decency and Left Coast morals, I couldn't bring myself to abuse my brain with more of such drivel.

But not all was lost: My bird cage has a fresh new floor covering.
