Don Walker's letter,
"Think about it", Jul 14 quotes what his dad wrote about leaders of a
nation; "In teaching men of every age, to look above themselves and
resources, to an eternal and Supreme Being, renders service to mankind, which is
almost infinite in its scope."
This sounds like
the Islamic madrasas' mantra.
As is commonly obvious, Dan's dad probably learned
this from his dad, as Don has learned from his dad, all of whom were/are
probably happily living a life of Christianity, into which they were
born .
Likewise, Islamic born
fundamentalists of our nation and abroad also "look above themselves and
resources, to an eternal and Supreme Being" for guidance. They are unashamed of
their beliefs and unafraid when it comes time to apply those beliefs."
"
"For it is a truth that as men worship a
Supreme Being and literally ‘lift up their eyes’ to Him, they come to know the
real meaning of true freedom" ; a freedom gained
by annihilation of infidels such as Don.
Interjection of fundamentalist "bible-belt" theology
adds nothing to the comprehension of worldwide human interaction.
Could it be that myths are condemning
myths?
